INDEPENDENT THOUGHT AND ACTION (OR LACK THEREOF)

The biggest problem our students have is: (I keep coming up with a new “biggest” every week.

• Not forgetting what they learned
• Not missing their homework
• Not struggling with math (per se)

Most teachers, I think, can relate:

Student: “I don’t know how to do that kind of addition.”:

Teacher/Tutor/Mentor;  “Did you look it up?”

Student: “I don’t know what you mean. What do you mean “look it up”? Where do I look it up? How do I look it up? What do I look up? Never mind. I will just keep using PhotoMath.”
