+ Follow the Prompting
How many opportunities pass by us every day that we don’t notice? Or, if we did notice, we just let it go?
- Go the extra mile and ask the gal working the grocery store (with a smile) “How is YOUR day going?”
- How about remembering someone’s name that you met several days ago?
- Did you ever strike up a conversation with someone who might have a foreign accent and inquire about their heritage?
We never know how our connections are initially created out of rather weak yarn, but might get stronger over time.
I am not quite sure how this happened, but my name and company information ended up in an education group in New Jersey! This new client said she saw a plethora of good reviews. (Yahoo!) That caused her to call me first as opposed to local opportunities.
It is all about our relationships. It is those relationships that endure.
I have learned, many times over to not worry about short-term trends OR outcomes that we can not control.
Stay the course.
Build and maintain those relationships.
